What is Deck Armor made of?

Deck Armor is made from virgin granulated rubber, bound with a clear epoxy. This creates a durable, sealed surface that is tough, non-porous, and built to withstand the marine environment.

How much does it weigh?

On average, Deck Armor weighs about 1 lb per square foot, depending on the boat and application.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, we offer a Lifetime Warranty on personal vessels and a 10-Year Warranty on commercial vessels and applications. Warranty is non-transferable.

Will the flooring get hot in the sun?

Like most surfaces, darker colors may get warmer in direct sunlight. However, for the most part, Deck Armor warms up but can still be walked on with bare feet.

Is Deck Armor stain resistant?

Yes. Deck Armor does not stain. It has been tested against fish blood, drinks, and tough marine elements.

Can I customize the look?

Absolutely! We offer a wide variety of colors and can even integrate your logo or design into the flooring for a personalized touch.

Is Deck Armor easy to clean?

Yes. Simply wash with water and Comet with bleach. If really dirty, a 2000 PSI or less pressure washer with a plastic bristle scrub brush will do the trick.

Is Deck Armor made in the USA?

How is Deck Armor different from other marine flooring?

Unlike our competitors, we use virgin rubber with UV protection and have our own special blend of epoxy for binding. Our product is permanently sealed, highly durable, non-staining, and backed by one of the best warranties in the industry.

Will my Deck Armor flooring turn yellow or amber?

Deck Armor flooring is made with UV-resistant materials that greatly slow color change. Over time, the flooring may develop a very slight amber tone, but it’s so subtle the average eye won’t notice it.

To help reduce this effect, keep your boat covered when not in use.

The normal, light ambering that may occur over time is not a defect. Deck Armor’s warranty does not cover this light ambering effect. If you have questions, please contact your local Deck Armor location.
